Jon's long track record of working with Japanese clients blossoms as he is appointed as Japan Ambassador for the IoD Jersey Region

Jon Appointed as Ambassador to the IoD Japan Business Group.

Representing the Institute of Directors (IoD) Jersey Region, Jon has recently been appointed as an Ambassador to the IoD Japan Business Group.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Jon said, "I am thrilled by the opportunity to support and contribute to the IoD Japan Business Group on behalf of the IoD Jersey Region. I look forward to collaborating with Group members on current and future strategic initiatives over the coming weeks, months, and years."

The IoD Japan Business Group was established to create a platform connecting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) interested in engaging in trade with Japan. The group's primary objective is to foster trade and investment opportunities between Japan and the UK, focusing on two main areas:

i) Strengthening trade and investment relations between the UK and Japan; and
ii) Exploring potential commercial engagement areas for UK and Japanese companies, either in their respective countries or by collaborating in third countries.

Jon’s appointment as an Ambassador is a significant step in enhancing these cross-border business relations and fostering deeper economic ties between Japan, the UK and the Channel Islands.
